Mark Boutwell

Mark Boutwell has worked in community mental health services in Vermont and New Hampshire for more than 30 years, working with individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness, and with intellectual disabilities.

Mark is currently Director of Social Services at Senior Solutions, the Council on Aging for Southeastern Vermont, where he administers programs including the Senior Helpline, the Choices for Care Medicaid Waiver program, Older Americans Act case management services, and state, federal and private grants. He is also a trained Person-Centered Planning options counselor and a certified geriatric care coordinator providing private-pay care management services.

Mark lives in Hartland, Vermont, with his wife, Susan, and their cat, Ulysses. When he is not working, Mark is active musically in the Upper Valley, singing with choral and jazz groups, and in solo performances in area churches and the Upper Valley Music Center. He recently performed in the musical theater production of 1776 in White River Junction.
