Denise Dupuis is a resident of Reading VT where she has lived with her husband for the last 22 years. She has two grown sons. She is currently employed by Windham and Windsor Housing Trust as their Windsor SASH (Support and Services at Home) Coordinator, working primarily with older individuals living in Windsor’s public housing developments. Her work with vulnerable populations spans close to thirty years and includes time spent as a long term care case manager for a home care agency, a Public Guardian for seniors and disabled individuals through Vermont’s Department of Aging and Independent Living, and case management for individuals with developmental challenges. Her work in the SASH program provides her with a unique perspective on a patient’s experience with health care as she advocates for many elderly and disabled residents of the greater Windsor area.
